Naveed Khan is a Senior Associate at Forte Family Lawyers. He is an experienced family lawyer who has worked in Australian national and boutique family law firms. Naveed’s experience in family law includes representing clients in complex property settlement negotiations and proceedings, financial agreements, and various types of parenting matters.
Naveed was admitted to practice in August 2014 and worked in a general practice in Pakistan for 18 months. Naveed is multi-lingual and can speak Urdu, Hindi and Pashto.
Naveed’s experience practising as a lawyer overseas and his initial broad experience of other areas of law gives him a unique insight into how family law interacts with other areas of law. Combined with his understanding of other cultures, he has a distinctive and practical perspective to solving his clients’ problems. He represents his clients with empathy and care.
Naveed has been a mentor with the Asian Australian Lawyers’ Association and is a former board member of the Muslim Legal Network. Naveed is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia.
