Ashlea Swan

During her tertiary studies, Ashlea worked as a law clerk in a family law firm. She also volunteered at Women’s Legal Service Victoria in the family law and family violence teams.

On completion of her university qualifications, Ashlea worked as a Deputy Associate at the (now) Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. She was subsequently promoted to an Associate role, which she held for approximately 2 years. Her experience at the Court has provided Ashlea with a solid foundation in court processes and procedures.

Ashlea was admitted to practice in December 2020 and has worked exclusively in family law since that time. Ashlea joined Forte in December 2022.

Ashlea is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia
