Yani graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Juris Doctor in December 2022. She was admitted to practice as an Australian Lawyer in June 2023 after completing her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. She also holds a Bachelor of Laws from Soochow University in China.
Yani has practised exclusively in family law since August 2023, driven by her passion for helping families navigate complex legal issues.
Prior to joining Forte Family Lawyers in August 2025, Yani worked in the family law team of a general practice firm, where she gained experience in assisting culturally diverse clients. She has also developed a particular focus on matters involving Asian clients, especially those from Chinese-speaking backgrounds.
Yani is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria, the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and Victorian Women Lawyers.
Yani is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
徐雅霓于2019年6月毕业于中国的苏州大学法学院并取得法学学士学位，后于2022年12月完成墨尔本大学法学院的法律研究生课程， 并于2023年6月获准成为澳大利亚律师。她现为维多利亚州律师协会、澳大利亚律师委员会家庭法分会及维多利亚州女性律师协会的会员。
自2023年8月起，徐律师专注于家庭法领域的相关实务工作，并致力于协助客户处理家庭法中各类事务及争议，包括婚前及同居关系财产协议、离婚财产分割、子女抚养安排、抚养费等相关问题。
在加入Forte Family Lawyers之前，徐律师曾任职于墨尔本一家综合性律师事务所的家庭法团队，积累了为多元文化背景客户提供法律服务的丰富经验。她尤其关注亚洲背景客户在家庭法事务中的需求，并深谙华语客户在跨文化法律环境下的沟通与协作方式。
自2025年8月加入Forte Family Lawyers以来，徐律师持续深入研究家庭法领域的疑难复杂问题，并积极参与处理相应的法律实务问题。
